Taapsee as village belle in Gundello... Hyderabad: All these while she was known for oomph factor and her voluptuous body, but, breaking the jinx, Taapsee Pannu has gone for an image makeover for her upcoming 'Gundello Godari' which will feature her in the traditional avatar.
The actress is playing the role of Sarala, a village belle in the film. And as soon her pics went online, the actress was poured with compliments for which she responded back by hinting, 'What's the fun working in this industry if I can't experiment with my look and character! I love surprising u all!'.
The film directed by debutante Kumar Nagendra is based on the lives of four individuals during the 1986 floods in Godavari district of AP. It is a bilingual that is being made in Tamil too. Lakshmi Manchu, Aadhi Pinishetty and Sundeep Kishan are playing other three significant characters in the film.
While Maestro Ilayaraja will be rendering tunes for the film, Dr Mohan Babu is presenting the flick on Manchu Entertainment. The film is nearing completion and it will hit screens in June.
