Bhanu sent Tollywood girls to VIP guests Hyderabad: The confession statement of Bhanu Kiran aka Bhanu, filed by the Crime Investigation Department (CID) before the court has brought to fore startling facts. But some outrageous revelations made by him are said to have been removed by 'some senior officials' in the police department.
Sources in the CID said Bhanu had disclosed about highprofile girls from Tollywood sent by him entertained some officials and politicians at private locations.
A Punjabi girl settled in Telugu film industry was allegedly sent to a top political leader in Karnataka, while two other girls ' one, who played the lead in a movie produced by Bhanu and gang were used to entertain their high profile guests.
Another actress, whose name is similar to that of a famous Bollywood actress ' were hired by Bhanu to entertain different officials, sources said.
A Malayali girl famous in Tamil and Telugu film industries entertained Suri several times. A television anchor hired the actress at Bhanu's expense, sources said.
Yet another revelation of Bhanu was that a senior IPS officer's attempts through Mangali Krishna to become the city police commissioner in the middle of 2009. The IPS officer had met a chief minister's son in Bengaluru through Krishna seeking the focal post as the city police commissioner.
However, his lobbying did not succeed as the chief minister's son was rendered powerless in the subsequent months and the same IPS officer has been protecting Krishna so far, sources said.
Bhanu and Krishna were also in touch allegedly with some senior police officers until the murder of Maddelacheruvu Suryanarayana
Reddy aka Suri and got some works done through them.
Bhanu is also said to have disclosed that some of the senior police officers were provided with air tickets to America for attending TANA conference.
These revelations were not included in the confession in view of the magnitude of trouble the revelations could cause.
The higher-ups were in no mood to embarrass senior officials and prominent people by including these revelations in the recorded confession statement filed before the court, sources said.
