Chennai: Sana Khan, who rose to fame with Tamil star Simbu's Silambattam', was wrongly reported to have been arrested in a prostitution case by a section of media recently.
While, the truth was that a Bollywood junior artiste by the same name was caught doing prostitution by the Benguluru police. This case was wrongly interpreted and was reported that the Silambattam actress was detained by the police.
The actress was devastated by the news. She has expressed that the report has caused a permanent damage to her reputation. She has also said that she would take the matter to the court.
The Benguluru cops have also clarified that the woman arrested was a Bollywood junior artiste and not a Kollywood and Tollywood actress. Her claim to fame in Telugu is Kalyanram's 'Katti', 'Gaganam' and most recently in Manchu Manoj's 'Mr Nokia'.
