Bellamkonda assault on Kandireega director
Hyderabad: Santosh Srinivas, director of 'Kandireega', alleged that producer Bellamkonda Suresh had beat him and manhandled him.
The director, who had teamed up with Suresh for the same movie, filed a complaint against him with the Director's Association. Bellamkonda, however, refuted the allegation.
In the past, there were media reports about how Bellamkonda had harassed Santosh by underpaying him and binding him with a contract which prevented the director from making movies with other production houses.
Incidentally, Bellamkonda who has produced movies such as 'Golimaar' (2010), 'Kanchana' (2011) and 'Kandireega' (2011), had made news when he and the actor Ram had a tiff regarding the actor's remuneration.
His name also prominently featured in the infamous 'shooting star' episode in which Tollywood actor Balakrishna was involved. His production house Sai Ganesh Productions had made 'Chenna Kesava Reddy' and 'Lakshmi Narasimha' with the actor.
