Low pay irks Trisha, opts out of 'Sir Ostara' Hyderabad: Sultry siren Trisha Krishnan has walked out of Ravi Teja's upcoming movie 'Sir Ostara'. Apparently, the actress was not satisfied with the remuneration offered.
Trisha maintains that her dates are clashing and hence she opted out of flick. But speculations are rife that she was offered low fee citing her recent flop record and age issues.
Keeping her track record in mind, movie makers are said to be offering her an all-time low remuneration in her career. Unlike Shriya, Trisha is not able to digest these happenings and hence opted out of the movie.
It is also heard that she is being asked to don skimpy and much short outfits for that low remuneration, which anyways is not liked by her. She has apparently miffed by Telugu producers.
Director Parusuram alias Bujji, of 'Yuvatha', 'Anjaneyulu' and 'Solo' fame will wield the megaphone. 'Sir Ostara' is famous lyric of a chartbuster in Puri Jagannadh's 'The Businessman'. Incidentally, Parasuram earlier worked under Puri. Seems 'Sir Ostara' is Parasuram's ode to his mentor Puri Jagannadh.
The source close to the director said, 'Trisha walked out of the project due to dates. Nothing is finalised yet. Two heroines will sizzle in the movie opposite Ravi Teja. We'll let you know in two days.'
Earlier there were reports that the director approached Nitya Menen for the movie but the actress was apparently not keen to do it.
Refuting the reports, a source close to the director said, 'We haven't narrated the script to Nitya. Same is the case with Amala Paul. We don't know how these rumours have spread. We did rope in Trisha but she walked out due to dates issue.'
It will be produced by Aswini Dutt under Vyjayanthi movies banner. The movie will commence its regular shooting soon.
Meanwhile Ravi Teja will wrap up the schedules of his Puri Jagannadh directed 'Devudu Chesina Manushulu' film, which is scheduled for a release in the month of June.
