Samantha bags lead role in Shankar's film Chennai: 'Ye Maya Chesave' star Samantha Ruth Prabhu is going great guns. The glam diva who is already super busy with Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films has bagged a lead role in yet another big ticket flick.
Samantha has been reportedly roped in to portray as lead protagonist opposite Vikram in Shankar's upcoming movie which is not yet titled.
Apart from the six big ticket flicks she has in her kitty, including Mani Ratnam's movie, Samantha has got the opportunity in Shankar's project.
The Madras mozart AR Rahman will score the music while PC Sreeram handles the camera and it will be produced by Oscar Ravichandran.
Director Shankar and Oscar Ravichandran earlier teamed up for Vikram and Sada starrer 'Aparachitudu' which was a massive hit at marquee.
Samantha is currently doing 'Eega', 'Autonagar Surya' and 'Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu'. She is also part of Mahesh's 'SVSC' and Ram Charan's 'Yevadu'.
