Jagan pulls tollywood strings
Hyderabad: Tollywood for years stayed aloof irrespective of strong political winds across the country and state though top heroes used to have their own political inclinations.
But now all this seems to have changed with YS.Jagan showing strong influence on the industry and successfully managing to pull tollywood strings in different directions.
The moment from the time of his arrest, statements from a couple of young heroes confirm the fear turning to reality. First was Ram Charan Tej, going on record complimenting the State Government for showing some spine in his tweet.
As if rebuttal to his statement Manchu Manoj issued statement that government or law enforcing authorities should not target a single person.
As if this was not enough though Harikrishna maintained stoic silence during NTR's Jayanthi yesterday saying this was not the right time to comment, his brother Natasimha Balakrishna said all these happenings are Jagan's own doings and he is bearing those fruits now.
He went ahead and said Jagan will be punished severely. In the mean time it was seen that wife of Manchu Vishnu, Veronica participating in a dharna of Jagan's family members infront of their Lotus Pond residence in protest against Jagan's arrest.
Many movie lovers, however, feel that politics and films should not be mixed and one should even stay away from dialogue writers penning controversial dialogues as was seen in 'Racha' and also in the trailers of 'Adhinayakudu'.
They say heroes are universal representatives for entertainment and they should not get their personal feelings while giving entertainment. It has to be seen whether anyone listens to the wishes of movie lovers.
