Priyamani in Geeta Arts film It's been sometime since Tollywood witnessed a Priyamani's film. The last time she was seen was in 'Kshetram' alongside Jagapathi Babu.
And now, breaking the shackles is Geeta Arts head honcho Allu Aravaind who will be producing the actress' 'Charulatha' in Telugu.
The film to be made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada is inspired by the 2007 Thai movie 'Alone' that had Thai-German pop singer Marsha Wattanapanich in lead role.
It is heard that some changes have been made to the script to suit south audience.
To be directed by Pon Kumaran, who earlier assisted the likes of Bharathi Raja and K S Ravi Kumar, the film will be made on a lavish budget.
Dwarakesh will produce the Kannada version while Ramesh Krishnamoorthy will pool in the money for the Tamil version.
Mollywood actor Skandha will play a crucial role with support from Seetha and Saranya Ponvannan.
