Richa signs for 'Saar Osthara'
Ravi Teja's forthcoming film 'Saar Osthara,' which went through in-numerous casting troubles in terms of its leading ladies, has finally found its second heroine in the form of Bengali beauty Richa Gangopadhyay. Kajal Aggarwal was signed recently as the first heroine.
First, it was Trisha who was all set to pair alongside her 'Krishna' star, but she backed out of the project in the last minute citing date issues. Then came Amala Paul's turn who developed cold feet at the mention of the movie.
However, producer Ashwini Dutt known for grandeur in his films hardly buckled and was keen to get top-league actresses' on board which in turn is the result of both Kajal and Richa in 'Saar Osthara'.
This will be the second time that the actresses' will be sharing space with their co-star Ravi Teja after their individual films 'Veera' and 'Mirapakay'.
Directed by Parasuram, 'Saar Osthara,'will go on floors from June 16 in Ooty. S S Thaman will score tunes for the film which will be made on Vyjayanti Movies.
