Charan, Upasana visits Tirumala Tirupati: The newly-wed couple Ram Charan Teja and Upasana Kamineni on Saturday performed special pooja to Lord Venkateswara at hill shrine of Tirumala Tirupati seeking blessings for a prosperous and happy married life.
Accompanied by his father and Rajya Sabha member K Chiranjeevi and Apollo Group Chairman C Prathap Reddy and family members, the couple went to the darshan of Lord Venkateswara during VIP break darshan in early hours and performed special poojas at Ranganayakulu mandapam.
The veda pundits blessed the couple of bright future. The couple also participated in the Kalyanotsavam of Lord Sri Venkateswara. Later, the newly wed couple took part in Srivari seva and did service to the visiting pilgrims. TTD chairman Sri Kanumuri Bapiraju tied organge colour scarves to the celebrity couple before they began serving food to the pilgrims.
Earlier, all the members of both the families reached Tirupati in a special flight from Hyderabad and offered special poojas at Padmavathi Ammavar in Tiruchanur.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam's Chairman K Bapiraju made special arrangements for Ram Charan and Upasana couple for the darshan of Lord Venkateswara. After performing special poojas, the couple proceeded to Aragonda, the native village of Prathap Reddy.
At Aragonda, the native village of Pratap Reddy where they had a darshhan of the famous Ardhagiri Anjaneya Swamy. They also participated in the inauguration of the water treatment plant and school set up by Pratap Reddy in his village.The couple is due to visit Srikalahasi also in this trip.
