Kodi's tribute to 'Puttaparthi Sai Baba' Top tollywood director Kodi Rama Krishna is paying tributes to Puttaparthi Sai baba with a film on him titled on the same name.
Malayalee Star Dileep will be playing the role of Sai Baba and Kodi Ramakrishna says the moment he made Dileep the offer, he readily agreed saying he was thinking about Baba at the same time.
Karatam Rambabu is producing the film on Sowbhagya Chitra banner. Ilaya Raja is the music director for the film which consists of 14 melodious tracks.
The film's first schedule is completed which was shot in Puttaparthi while the second schedule went off well in West Godavari locations.
During the shooting scenes on Baba and Karanam Subba's house were shot. Film makers are confident that settings showing Baba during British rule will appeal to all. 40% of the film's shooting is completed.
Hollywood technicians are working with the film and a set of Prashanti Nilayam costing over 1 crore has been laid in Hyderabad by art director Nagu.
The film features Sarath Babu and Jayaprada as Saibaba's parents while former TTD EO KV.Ramanacharai who recently starred in 'Devastanam' will be doing an important role in the film.
