Mahesh Babu received Maa Cine Award
Maa Cine awards-2012 were presented yesterday at a glittering ceremony for which top south Indian celebrities graced the occasion.
There are no prizes to guess the winners as after her spell bounding performance as Seetha in 'Sri Rama Rajyam', Nayanatara was all set to win best actress award by any organisation.
True to the words she bagged the best actress award for her performance and Tollywood Prince Mahesh Babu won the best actor award for her class mass entertainer 'Dookudu'.
Nayan duly thanked and credited the award to director Bapu and hero Natasimha Balakrishna who did not budge from his decision to cast her in the role.
Prince had the rare honor of recieving the award from Megastar Chiranjeevi and King Nagarjuna. A delighted Prince said it was a great honor getting the award from two top stars.
Prince said Dookudu is a special film for him and he enjoyed all the scenes once again when it was screened in a TV channel.Function was graced by Kamal Hassan, Raghavendra Rao, Nayanatara, Mohan Babu, Rajamouli, Keeravani, K. Viswanath, Aswini Dutt, Allu Aravind, Jayasudha, SP.Balasubramaniam, Rana, Prakash Raj, Srinu Vytla and others.
