DCM - a different ball game: Puri I've done 25 films till now and 'Devudu Chesina Manushulu' is a different ball game together. For the first time, I'm making a film without a story.
This is my fifth film with Ravi Teja and I can do more 50 films with him,' said director Puri Jagannadh at the audio launch of his film that took place in Hyderabad last week.
Attended by the film's cast and crew, the audio launch was more of a get together for the cast and crew who participated in the film's non-stop shooting at Bangkok for a near period of two months.
The event has also sexy siren/lead actress Ileana making her presence felt after director Dasari Narayana Rao criticised her for no show at the audio release of 'Julai', few weeks ago.
The last time that the actress was seen at a public duo in Hyderabad was at the same place for the audio launch of Shankar's 'Snehithudu' in January.
I'm working with Puri and Ravi Teja for the third time. Both are darlings to work with. This is the best film and role that I've ever did throughout my career', said Ileana who was the show stealer of the evening. Accompanied by her mother, she was seen in a dazzling brownish slit gown.
Adding more glamour to the event was Gabriela Bertante and Jyothi Rana. While the former who is making news for her number 'Disturb Chesthunnara' from the same film was seen performing at the event, the latter, famous for the Mona role in 'Pokiri' surfaced in Tollywood after a long hiatus. She did a jig before praising Puri all the way, just like other artists of the film.
'Thanks for your support Jagan (Puri Jagannadh) all this while. Your belief in me made me what I'm today,' said Ravi Teja. Raghu Kunche, the composer of the film had this to say, 'Every human is creation of god but I'm a creation of Puri. He made me to act, then to sing and now to compose. He's put me on a highway right now'.
Music director MM Keeravani has released the first CD to hand it over to Puri Jagan, Ravi Teja and Ileana.
Directors, Bhaskar, Gopichand Malineni, Gunnam Gangaraju, Boyapati Srinu, BVS Ravi, producers B Sivaramakrishna, Ganesh Bandla, K S Ramarao, Danayya and actors Ali, Subba Raju etc were in attendance at the do.
The film, a farcical comedy is produced by BVSN Prasad in association with Reliance entertainment. It will hit the screens on July 27.
