'Prasthanam' goes to Tamil Cashing on actor Sharvanand's popularity after the success of his Tamil film 'Engeyum Eppodhum', the makers of his 2010 Telugu film 'Prasthanam' are planning on dubbing and releasing the movie in Tamil. The dubbed version will be titled 'Padhavi'.
The film in which Telugu actor Saikumar plays a pivotal role, portrays how the craving for political status affects even the closest of relationships.
In the film, the role of Saikumar's son, played by Sudeep Kishan, develops a hatred for Saikumar's stepson Sharavanand.
The film has been directed by Deva Katta and the dialogues in Tamil have been penned by V Prabhakar, who earlier worked on Pokkiri.
Lyricists Piraisoodan, Snehan, Viveka, Indrajith and Muruganandham have worked on the songs. Rubi Parihar plays the heroine.
