2012-Past Perfect-Future Tense Telugu Film Industry completed first half of the year 2012 successfully and is now gearing for a show down to end the year on a high note.
A look back at the first half of the year shows that the past has been perfect and tollywood is waiting with bated breath about the future tense for the year's second half.
The year started off on a grand note with Prince Mahesh Babu becoming 'Business Man' doing great business starting from Sankranthi in January and he is ably aided by 'Body Guard' Victory Venkatesh.
Both of them are joining hands to lay the success platform in the second half with 'Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'.
Sunil blossomed hilarious flowers in February as 'Poolarangadu' and even flop hero Nitin spread 'Ishq' to the delight of movie lovers. Siddharth too did not fail them with his 'Love Failure'.
Small film makers showed their might in March with Maruthi's 'Eerojullo' which recently celebrated 100 days while Jaya's 'Lovely' turning the atmosphere lovely.
Then came Mega Powerstar turning April as amazing as ever doing 'Racha' at box office with Young Tiger NTR also showing his 'Dammu'.
With so much happening in the industry, Power Star Pawan Kalyan decided not to lag behind but to unleash his sensational power as 'Gabbar Singh' in May.
Tollywood is never the same after that as Power Star showed the true potential of it at world cinemas. However June saw Energetic Star lacking energy for 'Endukante Premanta' and even Natasimha Balakrishna as 'Adhinayakudu' falling in cold waters.
However romantic crime story 'Oka Romantic Crime Kadha' is enough to bring back smiles in Tollywood.
Past turned out to be perfect with Gabbar Singh rated as blockbuster while Business Man and Rachcha given superhit tag by trade analysts.
Poolarangadu, Ishq, Ee Rojullo, Lovely owned the hit rating. Future is not that really tense with Rajamouli's Eega all set to amaze all movie lovers along with Stylish Star Allu Arjun's Julayi, Puri Jagannath's Devudu Chesina Manushulu and Cameraman Ganga To Rambabu, Nag's Shirdi Sai and Damarukam along with Prince and Venky's Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.
