Dil Raju takes on 'Andala Rakshasi' Andala Rakshasi' is one film which is making the right noise even if there is no news of the film doing rounds, thanks to its impressive trailers that apart melodious songs.
The film, produced by Sai Korrapati on Vaarahi Chalana Chitram, has been put on hold with regards to its promotions, (because of the producer's other movie, 'Eega' which released Friday), but that hardly deterred producer Dil Raju bagging the Nizam rights of the film for a good sum, according to trade pundits.
Further adding, it is heard that Raju has shelled out an amount of Rs 3.75 crore for the rights. The film, we hear will be released after all the hype surrounding 'Eega' is over, but that only makes the film be delayed further since 'Eega' will be talk-of-the town for some time.
Tentative date of the film was August 10, but an announcement regarding it is expected since Raju also is distributing M S Raju's 'Tuneega Tuneega' this month.
'Andala Rakshasi' starring Naveen Chandra, Rahul Ravindran and Lavanya Tripathi in the lead roles is a triangular love story set in 1992.
It is directed by debutant Hanu Raghavapudi, who earlier worked as an assistant to director Chandra Sekhar Yeleti. Radhan, an associate of AR Rahman, has composed the sound track of the film.
