Dookudu swept Filmfare awards
59th Filmfare awards which were celebrated yesterday at a glittering function in Chennai witnessed Dookudu wave in tollywood section.
The film swept 6 awards in various categories for Best Film, Best Actor (Mahesh Babu), Best Director (Sreenu Vaitla), Best Supporting Actor (M S Narayana), Best Music Director (Thaman), Best Playback Singer (Male) (Rahul Nambiar).
Even Bapu-Balakrisna's mythological wonder Sri Rama Rajyam put a spectacular show at the function. It bagged 5 awards including Best Actress (Nayantara), Best Playback Singer (Female) (Shreya Ghoshal).
Dookudu completed hat trick of victories winning awards at prestigious events like CineMAA Awards, SIIMA and now Filmfare.
Priyamani, Richa Gangopadhyay, Shruti Haasan, Poorna and Dhanush delighted the audience with their scintillating performances on stage.
