Mega interest in Zanjeer
Mega Star Chiranjeevi may be busy with presidential polls and other political activities. However he is not forgetting in being the power behind the destiny of his loving son Young mega power star Ram Charan Tej in bollywood.
Chiru inspite of his busy schedule is following the day to day developments of Apurva Lakhia directed Zanjeer and he even appointed tollywood director Yogi to preside over the telugu version of the project.
Yogi is credited for having directed Oka Raju Oka Rani and Victory Venkatesh starrer 'Chintakayala Ravi'.
In the midst of all this he has his best friend Salman Khan who is guiding Cherry in Mumbai over the entire film, his character and even the script of the film.
It was heard that he suggested some changes in the script and impressed upon Charan to stick to his strength, his superlative dances and stunning stunts. He even added more spice to Priyanka's role in the film.
This Apoorva Lakhia's remake of Amitabh Bachchan's 1970s cop film will be released in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously. Mahie Gill plays the seductress in the movie while Ram Charan has Priyanka Chopra as lead lady.
Priyanka is yet to join the regular shoot of this film.It has to be seen whether the film will recreate the magic of Big B's 'Zanjeer' or meet the fate of RGV's Aag which was a remake of Big B classic.
