'DCM' an out and out entertainer: Puri Director Puri Jagannadh, known for wrapping up films in record time and working back to back, is all set to release his upcoming movie 'Devudu Chesina Manushulu' (DCM).
The prolific director is quite upbeat about his latest venture. The movie starring Ravi Teja, Ileana, Prakash Raj, Ali, Brahmanandam, and Kovai Sarala in significant roles is slated to release on August 15.
Brazilian model Gabriela Bertante has shaken her legs for an item number in the movie.
Interacting with media persons, Puri Jagannadh said, 'The movie has more comedy and less melodrama. It is different, in the sense that the same story will be narrated in two different lines.
Brahmanandam and Kovai Sarala will be seen as Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. The scenes involving the duo will be hilarious.'
On whether a sequel to his erstwhile blockbuster 'Idiot' is on cards, he said, 'I was supposed to do a sequel for 'Idiot' with Ravi Teja before the launch of 'Devudu Chesina Manushulu' and I went to Bangkok to prepare its script.
I watched the whole film and decided that I can't pen a script to its sequel. So, it's shelved.'
Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja said, 'This is my third film with producer BVSN Prasad and heroine Ileana, and fifth film with director Puri Jagannadh.
The movie is an out and out entertainer which will see me doing settlements and Ileana as a taxi driver.'
Expressing his gratitude to director Puri Jagannadh for the opportunity, music composer Raghu Kunche said, 'The songs went viral and to my surprise, all the songs of the album are listed among the top ten chartbusters which is a rarity these days.'
