Puri scraps Idiot 2 project
The moment one talks about Puri Jagannath and Ravi Teja, all remembers 'Idiot' in which Ravi Teja unleashes his mass romantic image singing 'chupulto guchchi guchchi champake'.
The film at once made Ravi Teja Mass Raja of tollywood. Ravi Teja who is now under string of flops hoped to revive the magic of Idiot when Puri announced with much fan fare that he would be making sequel for the film.
However addressing a press conference recently, Puri said he is scrapping Idiot-2 as he felt that continuation for Chanti's role will not suit the character.
He said he along with Ravi Teja discussed the issue long time back and then decided to make 'Devudu Chesina Manushulu' which is slated for Aug 15th grand release.
Now Ravi Teja's all hopes are pinned on the project along with Ileana. BVSN.Prasad produced the film tuned by Raghu Kunche with music.
