Nani engaged to Anjana in Vizag
Visakhapatnam: New generation hero, whose recent movie Eega stormed the box office, got engaged to a city girl, Anjana, here on Sunday.
A simple ceremony took place in the presence of her parents at the beach resort on Bhimili Road. Nani became friendly with Anjana through social networking site Facebook and later fell in love with her.
They kept it a secret and decided to get married. They informed their parents who readily agreed.
Nani acted in several films and Eega is his latest hit. His other films are Astha Chamma, Race, Bhimili Kabaddi Jattu and Pilla Zamindar.
Nani initially wanted to direct films and looked for a job as an assistant director.
In the process, he knocked on several doors but got poor response. On the advice of his friends, he went to well-known director Krishna Vamsi, but could not meet him.
His friends said that prior to getting a break as an actor, Nani spent an entire day in front of Krishna Vamsi's office, but could not get an appointment.
After persistent efforts, he did get a chance to act in Astha Chamma, which was a super success.
