'Life Is Beautiful' on Sept 13 Acclaimed director Sekhar Kammula's anticipated venture 'Life is Beautiful' (LIB), which was supposed to release for the Independence Day, will now release on September 13. Briefing the press persons, the reclusive filmmaker said, 'Euphoria and excitement has surrounded me as 'LIB' is special to me.
Unlike my previous films, 'Life is beautiful' is associated with big shots like Amala Akkineni and Shriya Saran. Obviously I've changed according to times.
My previous films 'Anand' and 'Happy Days' were released in less number of theatres at first and later expanded according to word of mouth talk. 'Anand' was released eight years ago.
That phase is a pass'. I can't adopt the same strategy to 'LIB' too. People are waiting for the film. So, there is nothing wrong in planning for a big release.'
He added, 'I won't quote any film as a small film or big film, but unlike my previous films, 'LIB' is made with big budget and rich production values.'
Talking about the promotion of the film, 'I'm planning to make promotions in a big way. We're leaving no stone unturned in promoting the film.
Preparations are set to promote the film beginning from September 1 in full swing. The title itself has huge scope to promote the film. We're making merchandise, T-shirts of 'LIB' which will be out soon.'
Starring debutants Abhijeet, Sudhakar, Kaushik, Zara, Rashmi, Kavya, Naveen, Vijay, Sanjeev and Sri Ram in the lead roles, the film has Mickey J Meyer's music. Most of the film was shot in a set erected by art director Thota Tharani.
