Tanish's new film 'Devadas' The name Devdas is synonymous with Indian film industry with actors after playing the obsessed lover turning into icons. Dilip Kumar, Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Shah Rukh Khan are among a few to name.
And the latest to join the elite list is actor Tanish. Fresh from the moderate success of his recent venture 'Mem Vayasuku Vachcham', Tanish will start his new film 'Devadas' at Annapurna Studios on account of his birthday this September 7.
G Srinivas who earlier directed a host of Kannada films and a Hindi film will direct 'Devadas' which will not be on the lines of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's novel.
Romancing Tanish in the film would be three heroines whose names are awaited. V S Rami Reddy, currently producing 'Shatruvu' with Srikanth will finance the project that will be made on V S R Productions. Guna will compose tunes for the film.
