Tamanna replaces Hansika
Milky beauty Tamanna will step into Hansika's shoes for the Telugu remake of 'Vettai', which has Naga Chaitanya and Sunil in the lead roles.
Earlier, Andrea Jeremiah and Hansika were roped in to play sisters, who will romance brothers Sunil and Naga Chaitanya, respectively.
However, Tollywood reports say Hansika has opted out of the project owing to some unknown reasons. However, Andrea will continue to reprise Sameera Reddy's role from the original, they add.
Bellamkonda Suresh is producing the film under Sai Ganesh Productions while Dolly of 'Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam' fame is directing the movie.
Tamanna and Naga Chaitanya are touted to be hit pair as the duo sizzled in Sukumar's hit flick '100% Love'.
The 'Racha' actress is super busy with Prabhas' 'Rebel' and Pawan Kalyan's 'Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu' in Tollywood and another big ticket film in Hindi opposite Ajay Devgn which is the remake of Sri Devi's 'Himmatwala'.
