Priyamani on 'Charulatha' Actress Priyamani's career in Tollywood has hit rock bottom with no films alongside A-listers, but the Malayali bombshell is pinning high hopes on her upcoming film 'Charulatha' in which she plays conjoined twins. She says a lot of hard work has gone in making the film.
'The audience is bound to have a different experience watching this film and I'm confident that it will bring me laurels. Computer graphics in the film are to watch out for,' said the actress who was last seen in the disastrous 'Kshetram'.
The actress, we hear, is dubbing for both Tamil and Telugu version since she has a good command over south languages.
The film's Tamil audio and trailers were launched at Chennai. Made in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously, the film, an official remake of Thai-Korean film 'Alone', is directed by Pon Kumar who said that the film is about two unlike minds residing in one body and the situations that arise from it form the crux of the story.
The film was to release this week, but delay in post production works hampered its progress. Final mixing works of the film is currently going on in Bengaluru after which graphics correction will take place in Chennai. It will now instead hit the screens on Sept 6 in both AP and Tamil Nadu.
Malayalam actor Skanda is playing the male lead with the likes of Seetha and Saranya Ponvannan in supporting roles. Produced by Dwarakesh, Geetha Arts is distributing the film in Telugu. Sundar C Babu is composing music for the film.
