'Shirdi Sai will spread Sai tatvam' Hyderabad: Mahesh Reddy, the producer of Nagarjuna-starrer Shirdi Sai, said that, 'The main intention of making this film is to spread Sai Tatvam (teachings). The purpose is to develop Sai cultism. The purpose will be served even if 1000 persons get inspired and visit Shirdi after watching this film.' He said, 'It was Baba who made us take up this venture. It is he who enacted each and every one's task in the project.
It is Sai Krupa (Sai's blessings).' Recalling the memories of the film-making at a press briefing, he said, 'The whole shoot was completed in a single stretch, in a span of 60 days.
The shooting in Himalayas was a memorable experience for me. Despite his age, director Raghavendra Rao worked hard to meet his goals. He even had suffered from nasal bleeding while shooting there. He did a painstaking research on this project and we could complete filming without a single complaint.'
Reddy informed that the idols of Baba were being set up at the theatres where the movie would be released. A few of the fans are also organising bhajans.
People are voluntarily participating in the activities. Devotees of Baba and fans of Nagarjuna are eagerly waiting for the film.
'Shirdi Sai is going to release on September 6. It will be screened in 801 theaters all over the world,' he said.
Director K Raghavendra Rao, executive producer Vikram, writer Paruchuri Gopalakrishna and cinematographer Gopal Reddy were present at the press meet.
