'Gundello Godari' for Dasara Lakshmi Manchu's upcoming bilingual 'Gundello Godari' ('Maranthen Mannithen' in Tamil), directed by Kumar Nagendra is all set for a Dasara release (October 24), according to reports. The movie, starring Aadhi, Tapasee, Lakshmi Manchu and Sundeep Kishan in the lead roles, is currently under post-production.
Based on a novel by Mullapudi Venkata Ramana, the film is set in the back drop of the 1986 Godavari floods. Sources say that great effort has been put in to recreate the floods on screen.
The trailers of the movie have already released and have garnered good response. The music, composed by maestro Ilayaraja will be launched in the second week of September. Sources have it that the audio launch will probably be held on a cruise in Godavari.
Meanwhile, sultry siren Taapsee is a busy bee these days. She is joining the sets of her upcoming Tamil film which also has Ajith, Nayantara and Arya in the lead roles.
Vishnu Vardhan, of 'Panjaa' fame, is directing this film and the latest schedule of this untitled film is going to begin later this week in Mumbai.
Although Taapsee had acted in couple of Tamil films like 'Aadukalam' and 'Vandhaan Vendraan', this is the biggest Tamil film which she has signed so far.
