Tamannah is Rebel's USP
Ending the wait surrounding it's release much to the joy of Prabhas' fans, 'Rebel' which will be releasing on September 28, besides attracting eminent producers from Tollywood to purchase it's area-wise distribution rights, has also attracted Tamil Nadu distributors who brought the theatrical rights of the film for Rs 33 lakh.
This comes in wake of the recent Telugu films, 'Gabbar Singh' and 'Julayi' proving to be money-spinners in TN.
The price is the highest for Prabhas film. 'Mr Perfect's TN theatrical rights were sold for Rs 10 lakhs and 'Rebel's huge price has to do with two reasons- Raghava Lawrence and Tamannaah. Both had their share of success in the State.
The action entertainer produced by Bhagawan and Pulla Rao also sees Deeksha Seth in an important role. Well, irrespective of the amount, Telugu films are turning out to be popular among TN audience.
