Vishwaroopam set for Sankranti Kamal Haasan's upcoming film Vishwaroopam will not be releasing later this year as planned before. The latest news is that Kamal Haasan, who has written, co-produced and directed the film, apart from playing the lead role, has decided to introduce Auro 3D sound format in his film.
Originally developed by Wilfried and Guy Van Baelen, the revolutionary sound format is being touted as the future of sound and Kamal Haasan believes that it'll replace the conventional dolby digital format in near future.
Recently, Wilfried flew down to Chennai to discuss more about how Auro 3D is going to help his film and Kamal was so impressed that he reportedly convinced almost 20 theatre owners in Chennai to upgrade their sound systems to Auro 3D.
The film's principal shooting was wrapped up a long ago; however, Kamal Haasan has been spending a lot of time on the film's post production which is happening in Chennai and Los Angeles.
The film stars Kamal Haasan, Andrea Jeremiah, Pooja Kumar, Sekhar Kapur and Rah'ul Bose in lead roles. Sh'a'nkar-Ehsaan-Loy are composing the music. Vishwaroopamis likely to release in January, 2013.
