Samantha opposite Suriya
Samantha might have made it big in Tollywood with her first few Telugu projects, but the Chennai beauty was made to wait to taste success in her home turf with 'Naan-Ee' after a string of not so great shows earlier.
While her next film 'Neethane En Ponvasntham' with her mentor Gautham Menon ('Yeto Vellipoindhi Manasu' in Telugu) is already pitched as a hit even before it hits the screens, the actress, who made it a point not to sign anymore films until her impending films are wrapped up as soon as she recovered from her illness, seems to have a change of mind.
If reports are to be believed then the 'Ye Maya Chesave' girl is in talks with director Linguswamy for his project with Suriya.
Sam is all but 'inn' in this project with only formalities need to be taken care of, chips in a birdie.
However, it appears to be that Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra was the strong contender for this role before it slipped out of her hands for Samantha to step in.
Sounds a positive step from Samantha as the film is bound to cater to Telugu market too since Suriya has his share of following over here.
