Tamannaah going great guns Doe-eyed beauty Tamannaah Bhatia is on a roll. She is going great guns with a slew of big-ticket films in her kitty, including remake of Sridevi's yesteryear blockbuster 'Himmatwala'. This spunky girl, who debuted into showbiz with Hindi film 'Chand Sa Roshan Chehra' in 2005, has been doing well in Tamil and Telugu films and is now looking forward to expand her base in Bollywood.
Her recent released films include 'Racha', 'Endukante... Premanta', 'Rebel', while 'Cameraman Gangato Rambabu', 'Bhale Tammudu' (remake of 'Vettai') and 'Himmatwala' are in pipeline. She has been basking in glory for her dances in these films from people of all walks of life. Besides bigwigs of film fraternity, critics too have been raving about her performances as well as dance.
This has made her the first choice for many filmmakers. Choreographer-turned-director Lawrence said about Tamannaah, who plays a hip-hop dance teacher in 'Rebel', 'She is a fabulous actress.
She has done very well in dances. Considering it, 'Rebel' will be a landmark film for her.' Tamannaah said during the teaser launch of 'Rebel', 'I've been getting pretty offers right from the beginning of this year.
I'm glad that many have been raving about my performance. I learnt a lot from Lawrence while working for 'Rebel'.' Prabhas said, ' Tamannaah is a better dancer compared to me.' Ram Charan too said similar thing during the audio launch of 'Racha', 'She is the best dancer among all my co-stars.'
The latest buzz is that Tamannaah is likely to sizzle opposite Ram Charan in his much anticipated venture 'Zanjeer'. Director Apoorva Lakhia is keen to cast the beauty for an item song in the film after apparently watching her erstwhile films.
The film, which is the remake of Amitabh Bachchan's 1973 blockbuster of the same name, marks Ram Charan's Hindi debut. Priyanka Chopra plays the love interest of Charan. The bi-lingual film will be simultaneously released in Telugu and Hindi.
So, her screen presence in this film, irrespective of the length of her presence, will definitely take her to the next level in B-town. So, the milk white beauty is banking on it to be a big ticket to Hindi film industry.
Meanwhile, she is doing remake of 'Himmatwala', opposite Ajay Devgn. While her second Hindi project is still on the sets, she has yet another big-ticket offer ' remake of Chiranjeevi's 'Tagore' in Hindi- alongside Akshay Kumar.
Looks like she is all set to make her impact felt in Bollywood and may not leave a single chance to make her presence felt in Bollywood.
