Actress Divya unwilling to go back to home Visakhapatnam: Upcoming actor Divya, who made a dramatic disappearance from home and later appeared in a satellite TV channel studio, said that she would not return home to her mother and rather stay in a working women's hostel.
Divya, currently undergoing treatment in a corporate hospital on the beach road in Vizag, told reporters that she would not go home to face harassment from her `uncle' Raju whom she accused of making sexual advances towards her. `My mother cannot live without Raju and I cannot bear his harassment and risk my life,' Divya said.
Raju has been taking care of the family ever since her father died when she and her sister Deepu were young. Raju had been accompanying her whenever she went to the sets. But during the travelling and leisure time, he began making indecent offers which she could not tolerate over a period of time.
She began her acting career as a junior artiste in Telugu films shot in Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad. She also worked as anchor for corporate functions and did some modelling before finding a lead role in `Oka Romantic Crime Katha' which became a hit. After the success of this film released in June this year, she bagged two more assignments.
Her mother Lokeswari suspected that Divya was having an affair with the director of her new film being shot in the city. Even in her missing complaint, she named the director.
