'Cameraman' not a satire: Puri All is well between director Puri Jagannadh and producer Danayya. After settling their differences, the duo were seen having a lively interaction with the media in view of their film 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu' (CGR) which releases on October 18 world-wide.
Puri was seen in a jovial mood and said that he owes a lot to Pawan Kalyan who introduced him as a director with 'Badri' more than a decade ago. 'I've penned the story of 'CGR' four years ago and narrated it to Ravi Teja first. He felt that the subject suits Pawan Kalyan more and I followed it up by narrating to Pawan.
He was on board after a single narration before patting my back,' he said. 'The story is a conflict between a reporter (Rambabu) and a politician (Rana Babu). How Rambabu solves a problem that the State is going through is dealt in a massy way.'
He also affirmed that the film is not a satire on media and that Pawan is dubbing for the film enthusiastically. When asked how he is able to churn out films at a rapid pace? Puri after a brief reflection replied, 'I'm making my films at a normal pace.
It is that other directors are making the films on a slow note.' Producer Dil Raju who is distributing the film in Nizam sounded positive about the film after having watched few scenes and songs from the film. Lyricist Bhaskarabatla and presenter Radhakrishna were also seen at the event.
