'Vaaradhi' set for Sankranthi release
In a sudden turn of events, Prabhas-starrer tentatively titled flick 'Vaaradhi', has booked its berth for early Sankranthi next year. This comes after NTR-starrer 'Baadshah' bowed out of the race due to action sequences which needed more time.
'Vaaradhi', a romantic action entertainer with family values, is currently progressing at Italy where director Koratala Shiva is canning a song.
The unit will be back to Hyderabad on 16 of this month. The new schedule will be followed immediately on October 19 and the entire shoot will be wrapped up by November 9.
Made on UV productions by Vamshi Krishna and U Pramod, the film is being planned for a January 11, 2013, release.
It will now compete with the likes of Ram Charan-starrer 'Naayak' and Venkatesh's 'Shadow', both films which confirmed their race for Sankranthi sometime back.
Anushka and Richa Gangopadhyay are playing female leads in 'Vaaradhi' that has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
