Rebel makers complains against Lawrence Success has many fathers while failure has none. This is proven many times and even in 'Rebel' case it is turning out to be true. Prabhas, Tamanna, Deeksha Seth starrer Rebel directed by Raghava Lawrence saw silver screen limelight after 18 months of film making.
During that time itself many doubts were raised by film critics about the quality of the product as such delay was unforeseen in the industry except for some films.
However film makers did not heed to it and finally J.Pullarao and J.Bhagavan released the film on Sep 28th with much fanfare. As expected the film got huge thumbs down from critics but however masses carried the film on their shoulders.
Thanks to bandhs, film makers shorted the duration and for sometime it worked out. However with release of new films like Sridevi's Bollywood flick English Vinglish and others, producers of the film seems to be feeling the pinch.
Suddently they started showing their rebellious attitude with J.Pullarao and J.Bhagavan who produced the film on Sri Balaji Cine Media lodging complaint against Lawrence at Producers Council alleging that he exceeded the said budget of Rs 22.5crs of the film to Rs 45crs final budget.
It is a mystery that they took so much time to realise this. Now even Lawrence lodged complaint against producers saying that they did not give him the promised dubbing and remake rights of the film.
All this shows that there is something more than that meets the eye. Lets wait for the complete story to unravel.
