Danayya told to clear dues to Puri
Last week film industry witnessed fight between CGR director Puri Jagannath and film maker DVV.Danayya. As Danayya continued to withhold his remuneration, Puri as a last resort approached Directors' Council.
It seemed with in two days both of them settled their problems as there was no news. However it was heard that even after recieving notices from the Council, Danayya did not settle Puri's Rs.4 crore remuneration.
The council this time warned Danayya to settle the matter before 17th of October or else there will be non-cooperation against him.
Already rule exist in the industry that film makers should pay off all remunerations and settle monetary issues prior to the release of the film, as one can not predict the fate of the film. CGR is due for release on Oct 18th.
