Kamal to revolutionalise Indian Film Industry Kamal Hasan is one hero who thinks out of box and that reflects not only in his films but also in his ideas and thoughts.
He is the one who never ran after personal benefits but strove for the benefit of the Indian Film Industry.
So when the Universal Hero addressed all at Media, Entertainment Business Conclave (MEBC) which was held in association with FICCI all heard him attentively.
As such this is the first such show organised by FICCI and Kamal on the occasion said he is happy that Indian Industry is competing with Hollywood in terms of number of films and also with the high production and technical values.
But wondered how come it couldn't make such huge profits. He analysed that it was due to low ticket rates at theatres and gave a call that theatre ticket rates should be increased.
Kamal even called for the right to decide ticket rates should be given to theatre owners and not exisit with Govt.
He reasoned out that people just like they chose from variety of products will decide whether to watch the films at increased rates with hi-fi comforts or settle for lower rates.
Producer D.Ramanaidu said this is for the first time he is participating in FICCI. He said he will discuss about film industry development.
Hollywood producer Barrry Asborne, Rajanikanth, D.Suresh babu, Priyadarshan, Girish Karnad, Sheela, Santosh Sivan, Jayanthi, Nadia, Saurabh Shukla, Lizzy, Jayaram, Sukumari, Katraggadda Prasad,C.Kalyan participated at the meet in Chennai.
