'Damarukam' postponed again The release of Nagarjuna's big budget graphical extravaganza 'Damarukam', which has been in the making for long time, has been postponed again.
The news of postponement was revealed at the last moment, when many theatres had already opened advance bookings.
'Damarukam' which wrapped its shooting portions much before 'Shirdi Sai', has seen numerous delays in its release. The film was to release on October 11 at first, following many date changes.
Recently, it was supposed to hit the screens on October 20, is again postponed now. The film's release has further been pushed back due to eleventh hour hiccups.
Nag's career has never seen this kind of postponement before and the news has come as a big surprise for his fans and the industry alike. The reason behind the decision is not yet clear.
However, going by the reports emerging from Film Nagar, the film might release on October 24 or November 1, but no official confirmation has been received.
Co-starring Anushka, Prakash Raj, Ganesh Venkatraman with Charmee in a special number Sakkubai, the film, touted to be made around a budget of Rs 40 crore is the most expensive film of Nagarjuna till date.
It has music by Devi Sri Prasad. It is directed by Srinivas Reddy and produced by Dr Venkat under RR Movie Makers banner.
