Ramanaidu unveils Thuppakki audio 'Thuppakki' starring Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal had its audio launch on Monday night at Shilpakalavedika, Hyderabad. Directed by by AR Murugadoss, Shobha Rani is presenting this film in Telugu under SVR Media banner.
D Ramanaidu unveiled the audio and gave the first CD to Vijay. Bigwigs of Tinsel town besides the cast and crew of the film made the event turn into a glitzy affair.
Kajal, clad in blue coat and white shirt and pant, stole the show. Vijay spoke in chaste Telugu and floored the crowd. Harris Jayaraj has scored the music for the film.
Speaking at the launch, Vijay said, 'Director Shankar introduced me with 'Snehitudu' to Tollywood. I hope 'Thuppakki' will bring me much closer to you. Murugadoss is a witty filmmaker and an extraordinary director.'
Director AR Murugadoss said, 'Director VV Vinayak had directed 'Tagore' which was penned by me. 'Gajini' has expanded the base of Suriya and Harris Jayaraj in Telugu.
After 'Thuppakki', Vijay would reach to Telugu audience. Telugu actors NTR, Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan should foray into Kollywood and do films with Tamil directors. Both Tollywood and Kollywood should walk hand-in-hand.'
He jocularly said, 'Kajal is a busy heroine. She has been shaking her legs with all the top stars in South and North. Due to her hectic schedule, she even forgot my name sometimes. She has called me 'Puri Jagannadh' on the sets of 'Thuppakki'.'
Kajal was late to the do. Apologising for the delay she said, 'I was busy in the shooting of 'Naayak' directed by VV Vinayak garu and hence the delay. It's been a great experience working with Murugadoss and Vijay.' The film will hit the south Indian screens on November 9.
