'Sevakudu' all set for release Actor Srikanth's upcoming film 'Sevakudu' has wrapped up its post production work and is gearing up for release.
Charmee, who was last seen in 'Nagaram Nidrapotunna Vela', is playing the lady lead. She will also be seen in an item song in 'Damarukam' with Nagarjuna.
V Samudra, of 'Evadayite Nakenti' fame, has directed this film. M Satyanarayana is producing this film under Sri Venkataramana Art Productions banner.
Actor Krishna and Manjula are playing pivotal roles in this film. Said to be a socio-drama, the makers of the film are planning to release it on November 16.
Briefing the press, director Samudra said, 'The movie is loosely based on the prevailing political and social conditions in our state and country. Though the film is relevant to real life conditions and discusses sensible issues, we took extra care such that this film won't stir up a controversy and won't provoke any community.
We discussed problems as well as its solutions. The film conveys that punishments adopted by our law should be stringent and points out at the flaws in our judiciary system. We've done enough research before making this film.'
He added, 'Srikanth plays a cop's role and Charmee assists him in the film. Brahmanandam tickles your funny bone. The theatrical trailer which released along with 'Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu' got attention of the public. I'm sure this film will attract the people of all walks of life. Charmee will sizzle in this film.'
Producer M Satyanarayana said, 'We're awaiting the approval of Censor Board. We will finalise the release date once we get its nod. We're planning to release this film on November 16.'
