HC relief to 'Denikaina Ready' Controversy over Vishnu, Hansika's hilarious entertainer 'Denikaina Ready' directed by G.Nageswara Reddy and produced by Mohan Babu is taking new twist with every passing day.
The state government appointed committee consists of Commissioner I&PR Chandravadan, Addnl DG of Police Anuradha, AP Film Chamber President Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Telangana Producers Council chairman Vijayender Reddy, Brahmin orgaisations represented by Dronamraju Ravi Kumar and Kamalakar Sarma headed by Social Welfare Dept Chief Secretary, Raymond Peter viewed the film yesterday and suggested 30 cuts.
The committee, it was learnt, told the producer of the film Mohan Babu to implement all the 30 cuts suggested by them by 22nd of this month.
However, on Friday in a big relief to Mohan Babu, the Andhra Pradesh High Court stayed the very appointment of committee and its functioning.
Mohan Babu approached the High Court challenging the veracity of government's decision in appointing committee as the film had already certified by the Central Board of Censor. High Court upheld Mohan Babu's views and stayed the operations of the Committee.
