Tupaki blazing in overseas
Vijay, Kajal's Tupaki directed by Murugadoss is blazing in overseas. According to trade analysts the film collected Rs.65.32 crore worldwide in the first week of its screening.
Trinath, a trade analyst speaking to media said "The film collected Rs.65.32 crore worldwide in the first week. In Tamil Nadu, 'Thuppakki' raked in Rs.40 crore and above in the first six days and it continues to run to packed houses. It is also doing good business in neighbouring states such as Kerala and Andhra Pradesh'.
The film hit the screens in a grand manner releasing in over 1000 theaters on Nov 13th offering diwali treat.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, "Thuppakki" collected Rs.1.18 crore in Britain, Rs.1.76 crore in the US and Rs.37.99 lakh in Australia in its opening weekend.Vijay's sleek look and Kajal's beauty along with Murugadoss creative narration did wonders at the box office.
