Pawan under Murugdoss direction Any director would love to make a film with an actor who has an unprecedented reach to enhance his CV.
Ace director AR Murugadoss is no different. Bowled after witnessing sea of people attending 'Indra's 175-days function at Vijayawada more than a decade ago, the director prepared a subject and made 'Stalin' keeping in view of Chiru's humongous reach.
Though it was a moderate success, the director has won the hearts of Telugu people. And now, after his latest venture 'Thuppaki' with Tamil superstar Vijay hitting the bull's eye across south India and all over, the socio-conscious filmmaker's next project has been the talk of the town.
Known to be pretty close to Geetha Arts head honcho Allu Aravind, who distributed AR's 'Ghajini' in Telugu, the filmmaker from Chennai, going by the reports, has been approached by the ace producer for a possible project with superstar Pawan Kalyan.
The actor, who off late has set his eyes on projects which dish out a social message is known to work with Tamil directors in the past. Karunakaran, SJ Suriya, Vishnu Vardhan are some examples of his body of work with Tamil filmmakers.
On the other hand, after 'Stalin', Murugadoss was to do a Telugu project, but somehow things didn't fall in place for the maker who got busy with his Tamil projects.
While this project with Pawan Kalyan is discussed at length in the industry circles, it is highly unlikely that it will go to floors pretty soon as the 'Gabbar Singh' star has projects with directors Trivikram Srinivas and Sampath Nandi.
It is also not sure whether Aravind will present the flick jointly with another producer, produce it alone or leave it to third party. However, one thing's for sure - that Pawan's fans would love to see this combo get going.
And remember that a certain Konda Krishnam Raju not so long ago said that he will be producing Pawan's next, a Telugu-Hindi bilingual with a top-notch director on board. No prizes for guessing!
