Puri shifts focus to Bollywood He made an unimpressive debut with 'Shart', remake of his original flick 'Badri' in Bollywood, but it took him a decade nearly to bounce back with 'Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap'.
After getting a pat on the back from Mumbai circles for bringing back megastar Amitabh Bachchan as the angry young man through 'Buddah', director Puri Jagannadh, we hear, is in talks to start his next B-town project.
While it is not clear with whom Puri held discussions, it is rumoured at length that the director will be working with a notable actor for his next B-town flick.
In fact, it was not long ago that the 'Pokiri' director clearly stated that he wants to concentrate more on B'wood projects to expand his market and sticking to his words, the director, after wrapping up 'Iddarammayilatho' with actor Allu Arjun, will soon shift to Mumbai, reports indicate.
After all, commercial arena is back to B'wood it is no wonder that Puri will be in demand as his style is close to the current demand.
The director simultaneously, along with the Telugu version, was to shoot the Hindi version of 'Businessman' with Abhishek Bachchan as the lead, but due to reasons guarded it never took off.
Meanwhile, reports of Puri re-uniting with his favourite actor Prabhas have also surfaced in Film Nagar. Known to share a close bonding, both have worked for 'Bujjigadu' and 'Ek Niranajan' with not so sweet results.
