Khushboo lands in fresh trouble
Actress Khushboo, who was the special guest at the audio function of Vishal and Trisha-starrer 'Vetadu Ventadu' has landed in trouble for sporting a sari which had Hindu deities Rama, Krishna, Hanuman stamped on it.
The audio ceremony took place over the last weekend in Hyderabad. Raising a concern over it, Tamil Nadu-based Hindi outfit The Hindu Makkal Katchi (HMK) has demanded an explanation and an apology from the actress-turned-policitician for 'hurting' Hindu sentiments.
The actress who got a relief last year after Supreme Court dismissed cases filed over her comments on pre-marital sex and live-in relationships, this time around, chose not to respond fittingly, according to reports.
While designers opine that such Kalamkari saris have pictures of gods embossed on them, the concerned Hindu outfit is hell-bent on the actresses' apology.
