'Kadali' to hit screens on Feb 1 Acclaimed maker Mani Ratnam's eagerly anticipated venture 'Kadali', a dubbed version of original 'Kadal' from Tamil, will make its way to the cinema halls on February 1 in both Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
The film will be competing with Vikram-starrer 'David'. It is slated to release around the same time in Tamil and Telugu.
Meanwhile, the audio of the 'Kadali' will release on December 26. Few numbers which are released as a promotional strategy have already received a thums up from critics.
Ratnam's trusted aide AR Rahman has composed the soundtrack of the film while dubbing films specialist writer Vanamali has penned the Telugu lyrics.
A romantic drama set in the backdrop of a fisherman in a village of TN, noted actors Arjun and Arvind Swamy are playing supporting roles.
Lakshmi Manchu is making her Kollywood debut with the flick which launches Gautham Karthik and Thulasi Nair into the south industry. Mani Ratnam is producing the flick on Madras Talkies.
