Ashwini Dutt is all praise for Devi Sri
Ravi Teja-Kajal Aggarwal starrer 'Sarocharu' which released last week opened to mixed reviews. Producer Ashwini Dutt, music composer Devi Sri Prasad and director Parusuram briefed the press at Prasad Preview theatre in Hyderabad.
Speaking at the event, producer Ashwini Dutt said, ''Sarocharu' is doing well at the box-office. This movie is like 'Subhalagnam' which was produced on our banner. After 'Govinda Govinda', we produced 'Subhalagnam' where the latter was a hit and after 'Shakthi', we've produced 'Sarocharu'.
Though Ravi Teja is known for mass-oriented roles, audiences are enjoying his non-stereotypical role in this feel-good romantic film. Devi Sri's music is another highlight. He is like my son and he was our neighbour in Chennai and I saw him growing up in front of my eyes.
I'm planning to produce a big star project with director Parusuram and music director Devi Sri Prasad up next.'
Director Parusuram said, 'I'm overwhelmed with the support of producer Ashwini Dutt. After penning the script, I asked him for DSP, Kajal and Vijay K Chakravarthy on board and he agreed. I'm also thankful to actor Nara Rohit who has done a significant cameo despite his image. Audiences are raving about his cameo presence.'
