Priyamani as 'Angulika'
Priyamni's new flick 'Angulika' was launched on Sunday in Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. Deepak, of 'Bhadra' and 'Arundhati' and 'Mitrudu' fame, will be seen opposite the sultry siren in this film.
Tipped to be a romantic-thriller, the plot is set against the backdrop of Time loop ('Kala Chakram'). Newcomer Prem Aryan is wielding the megaphone.
Koti and Rambabu are jointly producing the film under Sri Shanku Chakra Films. KVV Satyanarayana is presenting the film. Noted producer Bellamkonda Suresh sounded the clapboard for the first shot directed by Tammareddy Bharadwaja.
Priyamani plays the titular role Angulika. She said, 'After 'Kshetram' and 'Charulatha' this would be my performance-oriented role. I'm really looking forward to work with this team.'
Deepak said, 'Telugu movies are my first love. I'm glad i'm back to my roots. This will be my second film with Priyamani.'
The movie will go to floors from January 7. The makers of the film are planning to release it for summer.
The film would be released in Tamil and Hindi simultaneously with Telugu version. Producer C Kalyan, director B Jaya and others graced the do.
