Dasari showers praise on 'Genius' Although 'Genius', a Omkar directorial debut with Havish in the lead, opened to mixed reviews last Friday, veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao, who released the film in Ceded is elated with the film's run.
Expressing that he had faith in the prospects of the film before it released, 'The film's success is due to the team work but the first credit should go to writer Chinni Krishna.
The film has the same substance that my film 'Osey Ramullama' had and producer Kiran should be lauded for spending Rs 11 crore on the film,' said Dasari.
He added, 'It's an eye-opener for people who wander without any purpose. The film clearly showcased how people spoil their life by blindly believing in politicians, cricketers and actors.
The film should standout as another 'Pratighatana'.' He also poured compliments on Havish and Ohmkar.
