Rama Naidu's grandson booked for assault Hyderabad, January 4 (INN): The City Police has registered a case against Abhiram, grandson of Film Mogul D Rama Naidu.
According to sources, Abhiram in the morning went to Civil Engineer Raviteja's house picked up an argument and then beat him up. Raviteja sustained injuries in the attack.
The police were informed and they reached the spot soon and tried to stop Abhiram from further attacking the engineer. Not caring for the police Abhiram continued the assault.
Sources said Raviteja complained to Abhiram when he was playing music in a loud manner, irked by this Abhiram and his friends attacked the engineer.
The Banjara hills booked him under IPC sections of 447, 223, 342, 506 for manhandling a government servant while discharging duty. Abhiram is absconding, the police said.

Abhiram is the son of Suresh Babu, producer and a high figure in the film chamber. His other son, Rana is an actor. Rama Naidu was the TDP MP from Bapatla and lost to D Purendeswari in 2004.
